تُعدّ كنيسة سيّدة الانتقال للروم الملكيين الكاثوليك في قاع الريم، زحلة، من المعالم الروحية التي تجمع أبناء الرعية حول الإيمان والصلاة، وتشكل جزءًا من التراث الكنسي للمنطقة
تحمل الكنيسة اسم السيدة العذراء مريم وانتقالها إلى السماء، وهو عيد تحتفل به الكنيسة في الخامس عشر من آب، تكريمًا لمريم التي تحتل مكانة مميزة في الحياة الروحية والليتورجية للكنيسة الملكية الكاثوليكية
